I had a bad day, but it all ended up fine and good. Talked to Nic and my parents, realized they are the best people on this planet. Discussed the problem that I am facing to my mom days ago, a big decision that involves me and the future. My dad talked to me just now, trying to comfort and lead me to that direction, and at the mean time encouraged me to stay positive. It’s always delighting to hear from him. I am grateful for my Family who cares and loves unconditionally…

I am on a roller coaster mood these days, hoping for a better day. It’s supposed to be sunny tmr. hmmm hope my mood will be as sunny as the sun tomorrow.

Bottleneck!

Nothing is perfect, when it comes, we have to face it. I am not sure if I am avoiding from the reality, or just being positive. The decision that we have to make, not too far away, but definitely sufficient time to think about it. Someone, please, save me from the bottleneck. =(

I am too greedy, wanting everything I wish for. We have to give up in order to get something. I am still searching, searching what I really want.

外公患上了膀胱癌，不过幸好及时发现，现在动了手术，在等报告，应该是康复了。我到马来西亚的第二天就回去探望他了。他瘦了，看了好心疼。

妈妈今天跟我说，你爸爸这点最好。外公手术动了两次，前前后后去了好多趟医院，医院又在吉隆坡，所以每一次都是爸爸载。她说，他没有一声抱怨，虽然每天早上爸爸的电话特别多，工作那么忙，可是他没有半点埋怨而且还每一次都自愿带外公复诊。

突然感觉自己真的很幸福，回来了还埋怨爸爸为什么每天都看电视。可是他付出的这么多，我都不知道。我回来的那个星期五，我们去了吉打（爸爸的家乡）探望姑姑和亲戚，还住了一晚在槟城。这一次，最辛苦的也是爸爸，驾车载我们北上。

要时时刻刻的提醒自己，我，很幸福。

Few more days, I will be free from exams and stress for a little while. I am so happy and I can’t wait for this coming holiday. May is going to be a happening month for me, then June will be homecoming, I can’t wait.

Guess what, Nicholas is coming to Vancouver in less than 2 weeks. This is really a good start of my summer break. I am taking one summer course and going to work part time during my one month plus here =D

Went to downtown with the girls before reading break, had some small chats, just girls hanging out, so much fun~

CTV was there, it was Vancouver Winter Olympics Anniversary weekend so it was kinda crowded there.

Had so much fun this term other than studying. =D

Spring is here, looking forward to Summer in Vancouver and Malaysia =D

Most of the time, my day can be brighten up easily. I think this is a good point, because I am happy everyday ♥

Long Distance Relationship ♥

Working on a LDR research paper right now, after reading so much negative comments about LDR in scholarly articles, I decided to comment a little about it. Being in a relationship a few years, long distance relationship for a year or longer, I have a lot to say about LDR. It is the toughest thing that I have to pull through in life now besides studies & thinking about my future.

Communication is the evil roots in LDR. Things are easily misunderstood especially when you or your partner had a bad day. Once a tiny problem occurs, your whole day is gone. By hook or by crook, you gotta solve it with your partner or else it is going to bug you until the problem is solved. I am grateful that my partner is always thoughtful enough and we always talked things out. Nic and I never let an argument proceed to the next day, just to avoid sleepless night :>

If you were wondering, have we thought of ending this annoying process? I would say: Yes! we did. However, ending it doesn’t solve the problem. It’s just the physical distance between us, we still love each other as much so breaking up doesn’t help. =>

I find it really hard when you have to cope with life, studies, work, friends, family, and your partner who is apart from you. This is certainly not easy when you have to skype him or her almost everyday, even if you are busy? Text him or her almost all the time on whatsapp? We find it tiring at some point, however, this is the best we could do. Things like this happen: arguments which caused by the bad condition of internet line during video calls + bad day, then turn to complaints about LDR, then turn to negative points about LDR which involves your partner, which then turn it into a serious argument and then involving issues about giving up the relationship. I guess this happens to most ldr couples, at least once? I guess sometimes, it’s just how people handle things. LDR is not that bad as long as two person are committed and have similar life goals.

LDR is perceived to be unrealistic, yes, it’s true so true! I agree that partner can’t always be there for you when you need him/her. However, I am still clinging to this relationship, planning our future together, hoping that things would turn up positive for us in the future.

LDR is not easy, but this is what I learned from Prof Silvia FMST 314 last friday: “Great relationship don’t just happen”! Relationship don’t always turn out to be fairy tales… Instead it takes time and effort =)

Yesterday’s talk brought me to a sudden realization that I have only 2 more years left, in this lovely place UBC, Vancouver – a place where I met many great people, and made great friends, not to mention my ICPU friends whom I met earlier.

Time is indeed the cruel thing in life, eh? It pass and go by with nothing left for us. I had lollipop moment yesterday. I went to UBC to get my textbook, then I stopped by Xin Ying’s house to visit them. It’s been a while since we sit down and talk for hours. I miss those moments, normally Shu Woon and I would sit and talk over the dining table when we are having our dinner. These moments of talking, from hot guys at Sauder to heart-to-heart talk about life happenings etc. They bring inspiration to me, broaden my thoughts about perspective in lives, also they bring comfort to me when I am stress.

I love talking to people. To be honest, I can talk for hours and hours whom I am click with. Even strangers, sometimes talking to them is fun. Yesterday’s talk was random, funny and inspiring as well. I enjoyed every single moment spent, with my friends here. Also, I am glad to have these wonderful friends here in UBC, who helped me so much when I need help. =)

Love blogging, helps me to reduce stress, when I am in the mid of doing stats assignment!

P.S. I am renaming my blog soon, hope I have time to make a change to my blog! Stay tune!

Winter Break

We had good times in Lincoln, I don’t regret spending my winter break there. Although there’s nothing much to do in Lincoln, no sightseeing no interesting places to visit. But we had great times baking cake, cooking, watching movie, walking around the neighbourhood on sunny days etc. Things that we had never done before =) Also, spending time with friends there, spending my Christmas in an American house, these are awesome.

It was 8’celcius, super warm, but Nic told me to wear thicker, he probably didn’t check the weather forecast and I ended up looking like a dumpling on this awesome sunny day. hmph!

We had Thai food and Thai Garden, spring roll was crispy =D

But the tomyum didn’t taste good, it wasn’t spicy at all.

We baked! although it was really easy, stirring the batter was the only thing we did, but it was fun! =)

Went to Omaha, it was really cold!

Warren Buffett’s Diamond Shop, didn’t get to visit it cos it was closed. But we stopped by to take a picture of the entrance though lol

My feelings for the airport

I love and hate airports.

Felt really great when I was on my flight to Lincoln, NE. The moment of anticipation and excitement, to see each other and the feeling of embracing in each other’s arms when we finally meet again. It’s always great. But saying goodbyes are hard, moment of walking towards the custom checkpoint, leaving your loved ones behind, family or spouse, is always heart wrenching. It feels like time has stopped, and you don’t feel like moving forward. It’s always easy to say hello but hard to say goodbye, isn’t it?

My flight to Lincoln was a nice one, but not my flight back to Vancouver. It was saddening.

The day I left Vancouver, weather was great! =)

Bought this book and Lou Lou magazine to kill my 4hours flight. I managed to finish the whole book “Happy Ever After” during the entire flight. I guess I was just too excited to feel dizzy.

Anyway, I am back to normal life now. Sadness has gone =) It’s time to look forward and back to my routine. When can I end LDR, I wonder?

Pre-Finals-Syndrome

Exam is near, this week has been a busy week for me. I don’t know if it is the weather, or the stress or MIS report that is making me feel upset all the time. hmph~!

I find that I can’t live without a pair of earphones nowadays, I listen to songs on the bus on my way to school and back from school. I am so used to it now that I enjoy the 30mins bus ride now. Morning bus ride normally makes me happy =) When I get to listen to songs and do nothing on the bus. Something like daydreaming~ Morning is the most important time to start off your day, but I have had two bad days in a row. =S

I always love Friday nights because this is often the day I get to spend some time with friends, rest and dine out (without having to worry about everything else). Just a simple update pictures and more pictures! =)

Look at these salmon slices, only costs $5! Cheapest in town. ^^ However, it is advisable to take only 2slices utmost. Too many slices of Salmon makes me feel sick =S

Just a random title for this random post. It’s a long long day, spent 11hours in school, 9am - 8pm Great. Reached home not long ago, am supposed to work on assignments that are due on Thursday and final presentation on Wednesday, but decided to let myself rest for 15minutes before I start working on them.

Nothing beats this on a chilly night. Boh Tea with condensed milk.
It’s funny how sometimes, the smallest thing like a cup of tea could make you happier =)
This is life =)

Wonder if I could fall asleep later, I don’t know if I am sensitive to tea… hmmm…

It’s weird how weather could fluctuate so fast and very unpredictable. It was –4 degree Celsius this morning. And the thing is that I didn’t wear anything to cover my ears, they were frozen, painful and I was really worried that if someone accidentally beat my ears, they were gonna drop off. =S Well prepared for tomorrow, beanie, gloves are all in my school bag already! =)

Okay it’s gonna be a busy night and busy day tomorrow, work hard ;)

❄ It’s Snowing ❄

It didn’t snow in Vancouver last year, so this is my first time seeing snow in Vancouver except the time I went ski-ing. Ohh-so-awesome~! =D It was Friday night, we saw snow once we stepped out of the sky train station. I was excited for the snow in the morning, hoping it would be snowy white all over, and it did! =D

Went out to build snowman with Shu Woon in the morning, we wore flip flops at first, but it was freezing cold, felt like many needles were poking us =S Went to change to shoes later because it was awfully unbearable >.<

Happy to see everything covered by thick snow. The snow is so soft and fluffy =)

I sent an email to Nic 10minutes ago, with an attached photo. Guess what, the photo was automatically connected to my Windows Live Profile after I sent the email. I never realized the changes that Windows Live have done, until just now. I wonder why is this happening to Windows Live. I know it’s convenient for us, but who wants the content of an email to be open to public? I don’t get it. The funny thing is, I couldn’t find the button to disable this “convenient” function of Windows Live. So, I deleted the photos from my profile. Now, I changed the privacy settings of my Windows Live Profile.

Honestly, I was mad just now when I realized this creepy happening, even went on Vista discussion forum to create a discussion link about this (because I could get participation marks, LOL) but I learned something too. The internet is not safe!

Just a reminder for you guys,

One of the things that I enjoy the most in Vancouver is the changing of seasons. When I was in Malaysia, my favourite season was “winter” because everything was so beautiful. I guess the media plays the biggest role in influencing me, LOL. One of the korean dramas I watched, I think it was “Winter Melody”? had the most beautiful winter scenes ever. However, now when I am here already, my entire view on four seasons changed. hehee~

My favourite season would be summer when the weather turns warm and I get to go home, Malaysia, Yes. =)

Winter is cold, it didn’t snow heavily last year, didn’t have a chance to see the beautiful thick snow. Spring is beautiful with cherry blossoms. Autumn, honestly, I don’t like Autumn because it rains so much and it’s the start of cold weather, getting colder. >< But Autumn has the most beautiful scenery. =)

Went out to take some pictures with Shu Woon last Sunday~ It was disappointing because what we saw on Saturday disappeared. T__T We spotted few rows of beautiful trees near our house on Saturday, thought the leaves would stay there, when we went there on Sunday, it wasn’t as beautiful as before. hmph!

Hello people, I hope this is going to auto save, I blogged yesterday afternoon but the whole post went missing before I uploaded them, some technical problems, hmmm…

Anyway, I dreamed about something weird this morning, and I am waken up by this dream. I was shocked, it was only 6.30am, I couldn’t get back to sleep T____T

We were in Hawaii, it was so beautiful, there was a small lake, themed like Jurassic Park, Nic and I went to swim in that pool. When we were swimming, I saw a dinosaur, I swam so fast and left the pool and was running for my life. >< Then I realized that dinosaur was actually Nic, turned out that he wore the dinosaur costume to swim in the pool =.=’’’ It might sound ridiculous, and funny. But I was scared to death when I was in that dream, his dinosaur costume was way toooooooooo real and scary.

It’s something like this, but it looks 99% real and this doesn’t look real at all. ><

This dream made me want to go to Honolulu~ hmmm

An interesting call from dad~

Had a long day, just done my MIS presentation. It was so so, feel that our group could do better. Anyway, it’s never too late to work harder on MIS, hopefully~ fingers crossed.

So after my MIS presentation, on my way to the bus loop, I took out my phone - I received 3missed calls and a text. I don’t have a caller id so I don’t know who called me but the text was from my dad. He said: Ying please return my call, dad. To be frank, when I saw the text, my heart was pumping real fast, my dad never really called me on my phone (we video call) except on the 1st day I arrived here when I was busy settling down stuff in my new house. So I made the worst and the most stupid assumption, I thought something wrong must be going on, I was praying hard that everyone in Malaysia is safe and sound.

I then called my dad, the line was busy. It make me even more worried~! Before dialling for the last time, I thought, maybe I should contact Nicholas instead since he’s always online, I should be able to contact him through email. But the call finally got through, my dad answered the call. I asked him what happened and he asked me if I am safe. >.< I felt relieved that nothing happened. He explained to me that, he received a call, a scam maybe. A girl was crying over the phone, and then it hung up. Then my dad tracked the number of the call, it was an overseas call. He thought something bad happened to me so he called me, but I missed his calls because I was in the mid of presentation. So this is the whole story. It was something big to me.

I feel like writing it down, because I am touched. I am bless to have everything in life. The call made me realize that I miss my family more than I thought I would. Perhaps, I am just too busy to feel homesick now.

I miss my family more than everything else ♥ Family is where to heart is.

I miss home. Looking forward to summer already, when I can go home, and go on trips with my family. =)

Complicated Saturday – Mood swing –> Apple Festival UBC

I am telling myself to try to open up my mind, to look further. I was bothered by something tiny this morning. And my actions hurt other people, especially my loved ones. I am sorry. Sometimes, when two person are together, arguments happen easily because they have different opinions and different standings. To be frank, I am disappointed with myself. I can’t even take this now, how am I going to face complicated things in the future? I am still learning, bear with me, will you?

我把事情看得太重了，或许因为我看不开。我们都还在学习中，互相迁就，互相体谅，加油！

I started my Saturday morning in a messed up mood, but it turned better later. The weather was so good, okay the sun brightens up my day. Went to Apple Festival at UBC Botanical Garden, it was so good because it was sunny. Also with Shu Woon’s and fellow friends’ accompaniment, I somehow felt happier. =)

At the entrance, the entrance fee was $2.

最近，我很忙。其实不会很忙，只是，比去年忙多了。可是，觉得现在的生活过得越来越充实。

刚开始，一个人一路走去上课时，觉得很闷。可是，现在的我，喜欢走去上课的这一段路。因为时间都属于自己，路上的花花草草，好像变美了。

对这棵树情有独钟~ 每天早晨，不管是晴是雨；经过它，都会拿出手机，拍下它~

有太阳的早晨，幸福的味道~

不喜欢雨天；今天真的好冷，感觉秋天到了~

原来，不习惯变化和不喜欢变化有很大的分别。
之前，还不习惯变化，所以不喜欢。现在习惯了，生活变得比以前更充实~

我今天的心情，就像这张照片，不知道怎么形容，是幸福吗？花了40分钟在寒冷的雨天等巴士，想了好多东西，心情从烦躁变得开心多了。喜欢我现在的生活。

有时候，觉得自己付出多过对方 / 觉得对方是不对的。可是，事实并不是如此。自己检讨，思过后，才发现原来自己错最多。
勇敢地踏出第一步，我做到了。维持，再进步，是我的责任。

Skype with mom for 30minutes just now, I miss home a lot. Miss talking to her, my family went to Penang and Alor Star for Raya break, so didn’t talk to them for few days.

I think I miss home now, miss staying at home, miss everything at home. =(
I don’t know if everyone feels the same? Every problem is resolved after I talk to my mom.

First Saturday in Vancouver =)

Went to Safeway and T&T to get some groceries. After living here for a week, I started to feel better about the location of my house. It’s less than 30minutes from Richmond, the nearest safeway is at Oakridge, very near to our house too. =) We got some groceries, realized that cooking at home is much much cheaper than eating out!

Home Cooked Food~ can finally cook now, after one year of meal plan!
I cooked soy sauce shrimps & egg. Shu Woon cooked vege & soup~
They turned out delicious, a satisfying meal! =)

Fattening, so what? :p

To Do List : Laundry, mop the floor.

Hello from Vancouver~!

Finally, after one week, I am settled down nicely in Vancouver. This summer has been great. Btw, I tried uploading photos to facebook but it doesn’t work! I don’t know why. > <

I am loving the weather in Vancouver, sunny and chill~

There’s a huge change in my plan. I was supposed to stay on campus, but now, I am staying off campus by chance. With Shu Woon’s help (thanks to her ^^), I managed to get a room which is my cup of tea, which I am pretty much satisfied with. =) Hope my 2nd year in Vancouver will be colourful.

我来自新村 – Kuala Selangor

Nic and I made a trip down to Kuala Selangor yesterday, my purpose was to bring him around Kuala Selangor (the place where I grew up) and to visit my grandma. That’s his first time to Kuala Selangor, there’s more to come honey, hehee~

I grew up in Kuala Selangor, my grandma took care of me until I was 5 years old. I am close to my grandma because parents were both working in Kuala Lumpur and they only came back once a week to visit me. When I was in primary school, the best moments were school holidays when I got to stay at grandma’s house for a week or two. Cousins would come to grandma’s house and we would play together during school holidays. Every two weeks, we would go to grandma’s house and I truly enjoy every moment spend there. My aunties and cousins would be there too, the house would be full of noise. I love seeing this –cousins playing with each other; uncles and aunts chatting around, this is something that can’t be replaced.

Till now, our family still makes it a “tradition” to go home every two or three weeks. This is something precious in my family that I miss when I am away from home ♥

The food there taste more delicious than Klang’s food, I don’t know why~ Perhaps I love the place so everything tastes like heaven! My aunt treat us fresh coconuts, with no sugar added, simply awesome~ =)

Before we left, I gave grandma a tight hug.

Miss her lots when I was in Vancouver, I have decided to come home next Summer~ I cried after we left, probably because that’s the last time I see her before I fly. I will come home next year =) I remember something funny, my parents planned to send me home when I was 3 or 4 years old for kindergarten. But I cried hard and didn’t want to leave my grandma’s house that time, it happened few weeks consecutively, I cried every time when we were about to leave. Later my parents had no choice but to let me stay, I think I started school when I was 5 years old. hehee~

The 3 Powerful Words

Received a message this evening –
“I love you. These three words make us last together for so long…”

It was just a simple message but it reminds me of how powerful these words could be (of course, it only works for the one you love).

These words are powerful, at times of arguments or a downward sloping relationship. I am glad that we made it through and I hope there’s more to come in the future.

I am glad that they make my life more beautiful. =)

Rocky, Swan, Ping

This feeling is so familiar. I haven’t been blogging for a long time, seldom go online / facebook because I wanna spend more time with people, friends and family instead of just the laptop screen. But right now, I am feeling it again =S Everything is happening too fast, I am going back to Vancouver in less than 1month. Happy? I don’t know…maybe~

I was sitting in front of my laptop, appearing offline not wanting to chat with anyone, figuring out how should I spend my time with my family and friends before I leave my home again in less than a month’s time. I then received a text from my best friend, she told me that she bought me a flower hair clip from Melaka. I wanted to follow them to Melaka but I had something on today, couldn’t follow them =(

I feel our bond, it’s something beautiful~ Although it’s just a simple text message, but it touches my heart. We had a gathering at swan’s place last week and it was awesome. Unfortunately, we forgot to capture these moments, how could we forget to snap a photo of us? @.@ Met them, had the longest talk with them, had my first sleepover session etc~ More to come with rocky I hope, I get to celebrate your birthday before I fly ;p I hope there’s more to come, between us. =)

Spring Flowers in Vancouver

Vancouver is a beautiful place, and I know it on the first day I arrived. I’ve always love Vancouver’s sceneries. The best season to visit Vancouver is Summer when the weather is warm and sunny. But I love Spring too because you get to see pretty flowers during this season~ These are the pictures that I took in Vancouver when the flowers are blooming happily.

These pretty flowers along the road brighten up my mood when I was on my way to class. ^^

I was able to wear a dress, without leggings etc. It was a warm sunny day, was too happy with the weather =)

I think I’m in Love Again

There’s something on my mind that has been staying for long that I haven’t had a chance to blog about it till now. It’s about us. ♥

Maintaining a relationship is hard, maintaining a long distance relationship is harder. I am glad we made it through our first year, few more years to go till we are mature enough to tie a knot.

Separation is always cruel. There are many causes that could lead to endless arguments, especially when we have 3hours of time difference, 3hours make a huge difference. When his clock reaches 12am, my time is only 9pm, the night is still young for me but not his. Separation often invade my sense of security and jealousy and this easily leads to another argument. However, after I have gone through the first episode of long distance relationship, I thought, this is not as hard as I thought it’ll be as things have changed and improved. We appreciate each other more and don’t argue that often anymore after the separation because we know we have to appreciate the time we have before the starting of our second episode of long distance relationship which is approaching in one and a half months.

This summer break has been awesome for us and the fun is still going on. Not seeing each other for 8months, we launched our summer break by meeting up and going around the States for 2 weeks. The trip was a blast~ The first time seeing him at the airport after being apart for 8months was the trick, I was feeling happy yet nervous when I met him. Holding hands and embracing in each other’s arms for the first time after 8months, were the weirdest feelings ever felt by us. We both felt like strangers at first, but the feelings came back later. It was ♥.

I think I am falling in love again, because everything feels so different. Things are not the same anymore, we both feel that we are falling in love with each other again. Nothing could explain, but we feel it.

Thanks for your ride, jokes you crack just to make me happy again, your random idea of wanting to bring me to the airport, cooked shin-ramen, surprise spot check to my house, planned dates, and many more. Most importantly, Your accompaniment.

Back From Kelantan, Terengganu

To me, the trip was a disappointment. It was boring, dull, and any words you use to describe (empty). I was expecting too much from this trip. I thought it is a school trip so it should be fun as students were the main reason for this trip. However, I am wrong. Our activities were mainly shopping, Pasar Siti Khadijah, Pasar Wakaf Che, Pasar Besar Payang, spent hours of shopping at these markets. Fun? NO.

Spent 30minutes at this random beach we saw by the roadside.

We spent 5 hours at this Pasar which I have forgotten the name of the market.

I like Kelantan and Terengganu because there are trees and traditional buildings there, other than that, nothing much attractive. The sceneries are beautiful but we didn’t have chance to visit them.

I was browsing through my Disneyland photos and realized that I missed out one of the files. It’s still in my USB and those photos are taken by Joshua! Done browsing them, and I found a paparazzi-alike photo which caught my eyes, love it! =)

Travelling with friends who love taking pictures is not a bad idea actually! We walked around L.A. with Jing Hang and Joshua, and had lotsa fun! =) Nicholas actually enjoyed having them with us, it’s not that boring @.@ hehee

We took lots of pictures, good thing is I don’t have to carry a bulky DSLR with me but I still get good quality pictures XD [just kidding hehe]

I started to miss Disneyland already because everything is pretty there and because we missed out many rides and the fireworks session =( I wish I could go there once again!

Father’s Day Celebration at Jogoya

Had an awesome family gathering at Jogoya Japanese Buffet Restaurant last Thursday. This is the first proper family gathering that I attend since I am here. Our purpose was to celebrate Father’s Day for my grandpa =)

Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon

We went to see one of the natural seven wonders of the world – Grand Canyon! We joined Bravo Travel tour and it was a good deal. $99 per person for 3 days 2 nights which includes accommodation. We travelled from LA to Vegas on the first day and we stayed at Vegas for two nights. On the second day, we depart at 6am @.@ to Grand Canyon, it was a 5 hours drive for single trip. So we wasted 10 hours travelling time for the trip T__T

On our way to Grand Canyon, we visited Hoover Dam.

We watched a 30minutes Grand Canyon IMAX movie recommended by the tour guide, the movie was good because we get to see the whole Grand Canyon on screen =)

Las Vegas Strip – i

I think Las Vegas is ranked the highest among all the places that I visited in the States so far. I love Vegas for it’s classy ambience! Before I visited Vegas, I have always thought that Vegas is only famous for gambling and night life but it totally changed my perspectives when I reached there. Buildings are beautiful there, hotels at Las Vegas Strip are exceptionally luxurious!

We drove from LA to Vegas, it was a four hours drive~ Thanks to Mike and Sharon =)

We are finally here! This is just part of Vegas, there are many different places at Vegas but Las Vegas Strip is the most famous of all because of those themed hotels. Present you LAS VEGAS STRIP!

First night we stayed at a 4 stars hotel, New York New York. This is part of the entrance of New York New York.

I am back I am back I am back! =D Our plane touched down on Sunday noon. It wasn’t a smooth journey because Hong Kong was having heavy rain and thunder storm, our plane encounters turbulence most of the time. Thank god we arrived safely! =)

Went to the States for a 2 weeks vacation with Nicholas ♥ this picture was taken at the Crystal Gallery / Exhibition – City Centre, Vegas.

The trip was awesome! Thanks for their great hospitality – Sharon, Mike, Kheng and La. Also our companies for 4 days Jing Hang and Joshua! Our trip wouldn’t be great without them.

明天就飞去L.A.了，现在不知道要做什么好，在这里其实很闷，幸好每天都跟Natalie出去，不然时间会过得更慢！

我觉得我变了，思想方面变得跟成熟，更懂事。自从来这里以后，体会到了自己一个人住的辛苦，家人的重要。我还在成长中，可是至少也有一点点独立了吧？

这八个月，我学了很多很多东西。

去年的我，还是每天呆在家里，什么都不做的“小姐”。爸爸有时会训话，说我什么也不会，以后怎么办？到了这里，什么都得自己处理，没有父母在身边，真的不容易。
去年，还是很不懂事，还很幼稚，时常粘着nicholas。世界里，好像没有别的东西了。现在想起来，觉得以前的自己很幼稚，很可笑。
这八个月，我不止是在知识方面学了很多，反而，得到更多内心的感触。我觉得出国留学的成果不是一张文凭，反而是更成熟，更懂得处理事情的我。在这里看到，学到的事情都能帮助我以后要走的路。就算是很闷的Comm299也成为了我的一番动力，学了很多新的事情，很想成功！

明天我就要飞了，换成是以前的我，我现在应该很紧张吧？八个月不见面，明天就要见面了，很紧张？！可是我现在一点都不紧张，虽然这几天都很早起床，可是那不是因为我紧张，而是这里太冷了，我的被已经收进了summer storage所以我每晚都没有被单。很冷啊！！！不过，是有一点点的兴奋啦，不知道nicholas看到了我会怎样，我的脸很圆。@.@

明天飞去L.A.，两个星期后我就会回到家了！开心！！！=)

Tried their Profiterole Cups and New York Cheesecake. They are AWESOME.

Their food portion are big and their sushi is good! :)

Dined there on Xin Ying’s Birthday. Went to Gastown for some souvenirs :)

It’s an authentic Southern Barbeque House.
We ordered Memphis Feast, a platter which is enough for 4 people! hehee

3G Vegetarian Restaurant @ Cambie Street
Recommended for Vegetarian food lovers. Their food and service are good. Will dine there again. :)

Noodle House @ Mcdonald Street
Seafood fried rice is good but it’s pricey. ><

Bread Garden @ Downtown, near Pacific Centre
Their Curry Chicken Rice and Chicken Noodles Soup were good! hehee

Orange Corner @ Mcdonald Street
They sell all kind of wrap, savoury or sweet. I tried Banana with Nutella, they tasted good! hehe

The Diner @ Sasamat Street & Tolmie Street
Traditional British Breakfast – 7.95 per set. The portion was big that I couldn’t finish them.

Yoshoku-ya @ Denman Street, near Stanley Park
Their food are fusion of Japanese and Western. I ordered shrimp, it comes with potato, salad and rice.

Old Spaghetti Factory @ Gastown
Ordered their cocktail – Frosty Mango Madness & main course - Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo set.
Natalie ordered Cookies & Cream for cocktail. The food were all good! =)

1. The complimentary bread given was great.
2. Minestrone Soup which comes with the set that I ordered.
3. My spaghetti - Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo.

True Confections @ Alma Street
Fresh Fruits Cheesecake & Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce.

Their cheesecakes are strong but it’s perfect if you savour it with the whipped cream provided. =)
The strawberry sauce is so authentic! They made it with at least 90% strawberry because it’s so strawberry!!! hehee

Stepho’s Souvlaki Greek Restaurant @ Davie Street
Serves great Greek food. It was my first time trying Greek food.
Natalie ordered lamb set mine was shrimp. They were both great especially the pita. Lovin’ it! =)

Stanley Park

It’s pretty boring to stay here for a week. Nothing much to do here, food is expensive here. ><

Went to Stanley Park yesterday with my seniors, we cycled around Stanley Park.

Before that, I went to Starbucks for Grande Hot Chocolate, next a British Restaurant named Dine Here, ordered a Traditional British Breakfast Set.

Scrumptious Breakfast + Sunny Weather + Stanley Park = Awesome! =)

This plate of breakfast is too much for me, couldn’t finish them. >< But they were good! hehee

Went to Nitobe Memorial Garden before the last day of my exam with Chook Teng. A stroll down the park is a good way to release stress. :) Chook Teng was done with her exam, and I was bored of studying my last paper. So we went to Memorial Park to take some great photos.

Done with First Year Exam

Hello People! I am done with my first year at Sauder School of Business! =) I am glad that my first year is finished but it's unbelievable that time passes so fast. In a blink, it's already summer break! Time to go for summer trips with Family, Nic and Friends. =)

My summer vacation:

1.) I will stay for a week in Vancouver, will walk around Vancouver, enjoy the good food and scenery here.

2.) I will fly to L.A. and will be meeting Nic there. We will tour around L.A. and will spend a weekend at Las Vegas. If time allows, will go to Grand Canyon too.

3.) After that, I will be going back to Malaysia. Family & Friends & FOOD. =)

4.) Will be travelling to Japan with my family. Tokyo, Osaka and Mt. Fuji for a week.
5.) Following my sister's school trip to Kelantan and Terengganu for 5 days. I will be her guardian hehee

6.) Melaka & Penang for good food~ With friends or family.

7.) Singapore with friends. Not confirmed yet.
My SUMMER is going to be fun! =)

We had our dinner at Sun Sui Wah Seafood Restaurant. Their prices are pricey but the food tasted good.

I can't wait for my summer vacation. I have to start packing now. Pack and pack and pack. Packing is troublesome. My things doubled or tripled compared to the things that I bought when I first came here. T__T

A Whole New Start in Blogging

A more proper blogging style which I prefer, soon to come~! Will put up an appropriate header when I found one.

Will blog more often after my last paper and hopefully during Summer.
